KIN Sound Therapy
The First Evidence-Based Sound program rooted in music theory psychology which utilizes the Voice, the Drums, and Crystal Singing Bowls for clinical sound interventions.
Sound Therapy is KIN’s foremost curriculum for the development, understanding and mastery of the use of sound for physiological, emotional and subtle energy body healing. Through the research of the medical effects of acoustic resonance on the brain and nervous system, the effects of rhythm and entrainment on the visceral organs, combined with an in depth understanding and application of music theory in regards to crystal singing bowls, drum healing and voice healing, KIN Sound Therapy prepares individuals to use their knowledge of sound for the purpose of one on one sessions, group sound bath facilitation, and to confidently design their own sound interventions for deep meditation and recovery.
BY THE END OF THIS CURRICULUM YOU WILL: - Develop an understanding of the use of sound for physiological, emotional and subtle energy body healing.

KIN SOUND THERAPY Practitioner Certification
MODULE 1: CRYSTAL SOUND RESONANCE
By the end of this module participants will be able to:

- Apply the Circle of Fifths to Sound Healing
- Analyze harmonic and dissonant pairings for optimal use
- Discover Crystal Bowls Technology (Hz Frequencies)
- Apply Playing and Tuning your Bowls
- Assess individual client or group needs
- Create and Design best practice solutions for sound healing sessions
MODULE 2: MULTIDIMENSIONAL VOICE
By the end of the module, you will:
- Discover and utilize the power of your voice.
- Promote the recognition and appreciation of the tangible and intangible aspects of the voice.
- Develop the ability to convey natural emotions through vocalization.
- Enable vocal expression in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Identify and expand your vocal range. Understand the use of psychoacoustic notes in non-verbal expression.
- Apply vocal techniques for somatic releasing. Facilitate simple body and vocal warmups. Create vocal vibrato.Explore and utilize the four voices.
- Gain insight into the mechanics of voice, ear, and brain.
- Develop techniques for breath and oral motor facilitation.
- Understand the medical evidence supporting the application of vocal use.
- Differentiate the use of the voice in indigenous traditional medicine.
MODULE 3: PERCUSSION RHYTHM AND TIMING
By the end of this module, you will:
- Gain knowledge about the History and Mechanics of drums and percussion instruments.
- Learn drum circle practices and techniques.
- Implement best practices for individual and group drumming sessions.
- Facilitate call and response exercises using drums.
- Enhance gross motor control and fine motor skills through physical rhythm and timing.
- Analyze and implement diverse drumming techniques.
- Develop a strong foundation in rhythm and its practical applications.
- Utilize universal drumming patterns for therapeutic interventions.
- Recognize how percussion and rhythm impact brain dynamics and perception, entrainment and neuroplasticity.
- Understand the significant role of drums in traditional indigenous medicine.
- Differentiate drums from various cultures around the world.

Our Sound Program extends beyond the Practitioner Level. The KIN Sound Therapy Educator program provides individuals engaged in sound therapy with enhanced insights into the esoteric dimensions of sound, blending the realms of shamanic sound journeys and contemporary mental health. Upon completing the program and obtaining an ED degree, individuals gain the authority to instruct and certify others in KIN Sound Therapy Practitioner training. They are also equipped to facilitate the original sound modality known as Genetic Trauma Recoding.
